Why Elite, when there are options?

On paper, every studio looks similar — qualified teachers, kid-friendly classes, a big show at the end of the year. Here are four things that aren't on every studio's website. And that we won't compromise on.

Right-sized classes

Never more students in a class than a teacher can comfortably handle. Every dancer gets corrections, gets cues, and gets a moment in the spotlight — not lost in the back row.

True sprung dance floor

A real sprung floor with proper subfloor construction — not laminate over concrete. The floor is the difference between a kid who keeps dancing at 25 and one whose knees gave out at 16. Most studios skip it. We didn't.

Transparent pricing

One Recital Bundle covers production, the participation award, and the finale tee. Costumes are a flat per-dance number. Tickets are separate so the ticket experience stays clean. You'll know what recital costs before the curtain goes up.

The office actually answers

Phone, text, or email — usually within the hour during studio hours. No "submit a ticket," no waiting two days for someone to confirm a costume size. Real answers when you want them.

Meet the owners

Eileen & Michael Arnold.

Owners and operators of Elite Dance for 26 years. The studio is what it is because they built it on purpose, one decision at a time.

Eileen Arnold

Eileen Arnold is the Owner and Creative Director of Elite Dance in Covington, Louisiana, where she has proudly delivered 27 years of dance excellence to her community. A passionate educator and respected industry leader, Eileen is certified by Dance Educators of America and was named LA Dance Magic Educator of the Year. She serves as a Council Member for the Dance Educators Collective and has directed and choreographed for TEAM USA's Southern Region, leading dancers to compete on the world stage at the International World Dance Championships. Her professional credits also include directing and choreographing for the New Orleans Saintsations, the NFL cheerleaders for the New Orleans Saints — work that led to her very own Super Bowl ring.

Eileen's choreography has taken center stage at regional, national, and international events, earning numerous choreography awards along the way. Her work includes performances at the Super Bowl, productions for casinos along the Gulf Coast, and appearances in local and national pageants. Internationally, her choreography has earned Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals at the IDO World Dance Championships in Poland and Belgium.

Even more impressive is the success of her students, who have gone on to dance professionally in television, film, industrial productions, the NFL, the NBA, and collegiate dance teams nationwide.

Above all, Eileen is deeply committed to mentoring dancers for success both on and off the stage. She believes in working hard, leading with heart, and using dance as a way to inspire confidence, discipline, and joy — while striving for excellence that brings glory to God and positively impacts others.

Under Eileen's direction, dancers from Elite Dance have taken multiple 1st Place Gold Medals for TEAM USA at the International Dance Organization World Dance Competition — the "Olympics of Dance," 3,000+ performers, 30+ countries, held in Belgium and Poland.
