The Elite Dance Teacher Graduate Program.

For seniors completing their dance journey at Elite. A formal flower presentation, a graduate trophy, a commemorative plaque, and a possible future at Elite if you want one. First Steps, Final Bows, Forever Elite.

Beginning approximately in January of the current dance year, eligible students attend a graduate class with the director, study dance syllabi, choreograph dance routines with specified criteria, and are tested on their knowledge. Elite Dance Teacher Graduates are presented onstage during the recital with a formal flower presentation, a graduate trophy, and a special plaque.

Eligibility

Who qualifies

Six requirements to be an Elite Dance Teacher Graduate.

  • 1Inform the office that you would like to graduate.
  • 2Must be a senior in high school.
  • 3Must be registered in & complete all classes for graduating year (Ballet, Tap, Jumps & Turns, E3, Hip Hop, etc.).
  • 4Must have completed all classes for at least 3 previous years (not required to be consecutive but encouraged).
  • 5Must assist & complete a minimum of one class during graduating year.
  • 6Must have assisted & completed at least six (6) year-long classes by the time of graduation — must include a 2&3 year old combo class and a 4&5 year old combo class. Additional 4 may be combo or level classes of any genre.
During the graduating year, eligible students must attend a special Elite Dance Graduate Class taught by the studio owner. The studio reaches out to eligible students to schedule the class.

Paid in two installments per the Elite Dance Draft Schedule

Total Graduation Fee $600
While not required, graduation not only instills a sense of completion in the dancer, but also opens the door for future employment opportunities with Elite Dance.

Graduate Syllabus

Pre-School, Ballet, Jazz, & Tap syllabus materials.

Testing Materials

All materials needed for the graduation knowledge test.

Two-Page Picture Spread

A two-page picture spread in the Recital Book.

Personal Photo Shoot

Personal photo shoot with the photographer. (Additional fees to purchase full photo shoot from photographer apply.)

Early VIP Recital Seating

Early VIP recital seat selection — before the school.

Formal Flower Presentation

Formal flower presentation during recital with parents.

Graduate Trophy

An Elite Dance Graduate Trophy.
